Hello folks: Can anyone tell me why some Ferraris have the logo shield on the sides of the car and some do not have it all all?? Randle

It's a factory option that costs quite a bit of money.

It's a must have in my humble opinion, it just looks great.

Its a factory option on the newer cars (360 and after) for cars before they are added by the owners. The exception being the 288, F40, F50.

I believe it was also available as a factory option on the late F355s. It was standard on the 550 Barchetta.

If the shield is not recessed slightly into the wheel arch, then it is an aftermarket addition.
