Luca came out in a recent interview and stated that Ferrari would not launch a new entry level "Dino"

The back end certainly looks much nicer than the images that were circulating earlier in the year.

I'd like to see some profile and front end shots.

Bring it on, i always get excited when a new Ferrari's launched. I hope it's affordable for my budget - but probably not

Could that have been a smoke screen or does a comment like that from a CEO generally mean 100% without question we are not working on that?

I really liked it, the exhausts and the lights look so fine!

but I don't know if it is just me, but it has a certain Japanese look hehehehehe

I thought the same thing when I first saw the 612, but maybe I'm just being picky

IMHO, it is a credibility issue. If they now launch a new Dino, no one will believe him in the future. Net net, don't think it is going to happen. Now the car could appear with a Maserati or Alfa badge on the front.

I read a while back in Automobile magazine that the Dino will not at all be entry-level priced, as it will be $170,000, the price of the F430 --to replace the F430 as that car will be upgraded and be offered at $200,000. is the F430 considered an entry level Ferrari? If it is, then pardon my statement.

$170,000 is not the entry level point for me. entry level would be a 328! or at most a 550.

Are most people able to enter into the Ferrari market at 170k? F430 prices?
I guess so since the Ferrari is for the wealthy. For the wealthy, an F430 is like buying a Camry.

I think people are confusing early information leaks on the 430 successor with a Dino resurection. If you step back and consider that Ferrari is part of the Fiat empire, a Dino relaunch makes little sense. It will just cannibalize Maserati sales, not to mention cutting off any hope for an Alfa 8C successor. Strategically I think it is a no go.

It is a shame they didn't make more Alfa 8Cs. I hope to add that to my garage one day as I think the car looks awesome.

Yes the Alfa 8C is a beautiful car. It's currently not getting much press or exposure here. That is a shame.
