A commentary would be nice, just a few details about where you are filming and some car history or general information.

By the way, GBP50M is still a bit in the future for the 250GTO

When in doubt, GAS it !!

I can help you a bit there, Poppy, as I photographed that car, too. It was at the Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle in September of this year.

Thank you John, much appreciated. I enjoy car videos but when they have some running commentary they are more enjoyable.

Anybody with the right gear can take and upload a video but a bit of personal input shows knowledge and passion.

I am a only a beginner with my car knowledge compared to some of you, it's just nice to listen as well as look, in my opinion.

I have recently been thrown in the deep end with the passing of my father, inheriting his collection. Though I share his passion for cars and bikes all my life, I need to learn and learn so much more. He was like an encyclopaedia, thankfully he wrote much down as well as neverending talk, particularly on classics.

Sorry for rambling and the thread takeover . Poppy

Condolences to you, ForrzaPoppy. Something we all have to pass through sometime along the way.

I shouldn't worry about that - that's one of the good things about this forum: one thing leads to another.

I am very sorry to hear of your father's passing. Last thing we heard was that he was off to the the USA to bid for some exotic Zagato creation, I think. Sounds like a great guy - I am sure you will miss him very much.

The other good thing about this forum is that there are lots of people here who own / have extensive knowledge of all sorts of cars, not just Ferraris, so if you have any questions about the cars you have inherited, ask away.

Best wishes, John

This is the car, I believe:

250 GTO s/n 3729GT

It looks as though it has had a change of colour and registration number recently - seems a strange thing to do to a car of this importance, unless maybe it was white originally.

Best wishes, John
