Naked Boxer !

Attached are a couple of pictures taken during some recent work on the 365 GT4 BB. One of the "challenges" of Boxer ownership is that the engine needs to come out for just about any work that needs to be done to the front end.

Mine went through similar recently.Very painful experience on the wallet!! I'd like to increase my mechanical knowledge to have a go at it myself someday.............

Great photos!

When I see these I instantly understand why they don't use the Boxer 180 degree engine. It is very difficult to work on if you have to do this everytime.

Not quite right, there are a couple of things you can do with the Boxer engine without having to pull it:

- change the motor oil
- fill the gas tank
