4 / 5 Seats

hi;

We currently own a 2004 porsche 911 4s cabriolet. We are looking at selling it as I find I rarely use it. We have 3 children (ages 9y/o, 7 y/o and 7 y/o). The problem is that I can get 3 kids in the car (passenger side airbag) but my wife then of course stays at home. Thus the lack of use. I asked whether the back seat could be converted to a bench type of seat with three seatbelts. The problem is that the gear box is so high relative to the seat creating a good 6 inch hump between the seats. Thus nothing can be done.

I have looked into the new Jaguar xk that is coming out and it looks like the back seat is more of a bench type of seat and I think we could get someone to add another seatbelt.

Does anyone know whether that would be possible to do something like that on any model of ferrari?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You could probably modify the back seat of a 400 or 412 to accomodate 3 children. It would involve removing the center arm rest. The people at Beacon Hill Garage could probably give you an idea of the cost and what would be involved.

Welcome to Ferrari Forum? I am not sure I fully understand this. But would the Ferrari be your only car? I don't think this is the best way to go, that is what Sedans and Minivans are for.
