3M film issue

I just bought my first Ferrari, a 2001 360F1 Red / Tan with 5,800 miles. The car looks brand new. This is a great car!!! I have always enjoyed detailing my cars but never had to deal with the 3M film issue. The film is in good shape and has not discolored. When it comes to detailing the car do you wax the entire car and the film? If i choose to remove the film, will I notice a difference because of fading of the paint under the film?

Thanks for your help.

The film is to protect the sensitive spots from stone chips. Leave it.

Yes, you can wax the film but do not use any abrasive polishes or rubbing compounds on it.
