Battery energy storage -- new promising technologies ?

Any thoughts about the newest stage of natrium - iones (i.e. company Aquion Energy) or lithium - iones technical improvements and its relevance to stable (in house energy source) or moveable (cars, bikes, any devices) battery energy sources ?

Big jumps in battery energy storage capabilities ahead of us ?!
