328 down

After 94000 miles, it seems that my starter motor solenoid failed. I was out somewhere over the weekend, and when I went to start the car, nothing but a clicking sound from the engine bay, and no ignition. On top of that, after I got the car pop started, once I got home, the cable for the engine lid release broke ..... 320 for a rebuilt starter motor, and 60 for a new cable. The good news, is that I was referred to a shop right nearby that can do the repairs. Its always something....lol

in the course of age and miles those are very minor and 'nice' problems to have.

94,000 miles! That's a lot of enjoyment. It's good to hear you're back on the road with an inexpensive fix.

battery

Hey Ed..the battery and charging system is working fine, this has been an intermittent problem for a while. On a few occasions the car failed to turn over, over the last 10 or so times I have taken it out, everything was fine, now it wont turn over at all . I can hear the starter go click click, but thats it,,,I dont think it can be anything else,,at least I hope not,,,
