Seeking 458 Challenge livery ideas?

Just got the call that Ferrari released our 458 Challenge car, and it is on its way from NJ to CA. I'm already grinning ear to ear and can't wait to take this one for a spin! Perhaps the fact that I spent Fri-Sun of last week hooning around Sonoma Raceway in a (pre-EVO) 458 Challenge is contributing to the Epic Grin?

At any rate, I could now use FL's help: I'm seeking livery ideas. Christine's threatened to go with something unconventional (think: Hello Kitty ) if we don't settle on a beautiful yellow/blue scheme by the time the car arrives. So -- any particular designs readers have seen which work well with the car's lines? Pointers/pictures welcomed!

Don't let this happen...

Ben- I would make her just like your 599XX, Giallo and Blu. Why fool with a good thing?

Or you could follow the idea of the 250 GTO livery, but reverse the colours, keeping your yellow and using a grey stripe....

Barry- Or a blue one.

Could always do the one with the cuts of meat on her, the Pink Pig 917, but with yellow paint and blue lines and meat cuts. Anglicized, natch.

That's a gorgeous GTO. The yellow accent stripe, the white number plates... molto bene!

Schwanz?!
I about fell out of my chair laughing at that.
Who would put that on a race car? Any car for that matter!
Now if they put BIG Schwanz....

A friend of mine had brilliant livery on his 458 challenge, IMHO. Designed by Michiel van de Brink. http://www.vandenbrinkdesign.com/

Of course it is a little jab to Red Bull.

Congrats!

Depends how crazy you want to go - personally I like the silver mirror that's on a few of the Effort Racing cars.

Don't forget matching helmet suit and shoes for two

The 458 is lighter than the 360 & 430 with more horsepower very easy to drive but things happen fast.

Have fun and be safe - there are a lot of modifications Ferrari has made mandatory on the current Challenge cars that are running - suggest each upgrade.

Improve, no - it's beautiful already. But personalize...

Credit Andy Blackmore for the design, which we both think complements the 458's shape wonderfully while continuing the Modena color theme.

Indeed - we got the 458C in large part to keep our skills honed between 599XX driving sessions, and to be safe on track. Ours is a brand-new 2014; we're installing the IMSA safety additions to make it legal for '14 US Challenge series. If there were other updates you're aware of ... ?
