Ferrari F40 destroyed by a Dodge Dart

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Ontario, Canada where this accident took place, it wasn't even the fault of the mechanic who was behind the wheel of the rare F40 when it happened.

6 pictures and details in the gallery

The F40 will be repaired, no question. Glad the "red overrunner" hit the F40 almost at the top front. A side, door Region impact could have been fatal for the F40 driver as side impact protection is very low on the F40.

Is there any protection beams in the doors? When i opened the door on a f40 i remember being super light.

I believe that the US F40 version has some additional side impact protection (compared to the european version)....at least that was the argument for the additional weight of the US version. If that is the case however I doubt that this protection is sufficient to modern standarts.
F40 driving was always a little more dangereous, especially with cat Versions....it may get hot in there....
