Ferrari 348 less expensive than a 328??

Hi. Just with a small doubt.
I have been doing some research on Ferraris I would be intrested on buying and have noticed that most of the times I find 328 that are as expensive as a 348. How can that be?

The 328 hold it's value better than a 348. It's true. Just as the 246 Dino holds its value better than either the 308, 328 or the 348! Some Ferrari age better. That's how it is.

As Stradale mentioned, the 328 has aged much better than the 348. Suggest you drive both and see which you prefer. The 308-328 series is regarded as "classic" and highly successful. The 348 is much more controversial and its Testarossa type styling has not aged as well.

Around 50k USD. Of course that is in the US, I have no idea what it would cost in Sweden.

The 328 is also much more trouble free than the 348. Odds are you're going to be spending a lot more on maintenance on a 348 than a 328. I'd say that's the main price factor than styling.

On the major services, the cambelts are an engine out job on the 348 but not on the 328. Taking the engine out every 3-4 years is a major cost factor overh the longer term.

Is a Mondial T or a 355 Gts or B, more reliable than a 348?

Malin:
Try Autoscout.de to search for a preowned Ferrari in Germany.

The Mondial Ts are known to suffer from the same ailments as the 348. They share the same drive train and electronics. The 355 is often thought to be as reliable as the 328. Some would say more, some less. Both are good solid cars. Both could be considered a good daily driver.
