Ladies and Gentlemen, the 2014 Ferrari FIAT, err, I mean F14T

No penis nose!! It's better looking, but it doesn't seem to allow nearly as much air under the car. Surely they have it all worked out.

I must admit I'm a sucker for those Ferrari videos. Lets hope the F14T looks as good on track as it does in the Ferrari movie production.

The profile shot at the end is reminiscent of the Red Bull from last year.

Let's hope their wind tunnel program was better this time.....

High mileage, low compression, and missing on a few cylinders.....just like my cars.

That was a really cool video. I was expecting the car to be a design that was very different from the previous F1 cars of the V8 era . Outside of the nose, It doesnt seem as radical a change as I imagined.

My Bentley was built long before VW bought the company. Had to hide the Vickers insignia

Just realized how tiny the Ferrari's inlets are compared to the Mclaren's.

Nice comparison of the two!

Maybe after their previous wind tunnel fiascos, they're really trying to get the aero stuff right, perhaps at the expense of cooling?

The Ferrari also seems lower than the McLaren?

Any spy shots of the 2014 Red Bull car yet? It's supposed to be testing at Jerez in a few days, but surely someone's taken a few pics?

Only 15.000rpm

I prefer atmospherical engines but I will rest my complaints until I've heard the new engine

I hope this means they've found a cooling advantage. I think it would be a bad decision to take a chance on reliability.

Red Bull are unveiling their car at Jerez on the 28th. Rumor is that they've gone with a nose similar to Ferrari, but they're just rumors right now.

Everyone's focused on the noses but I think the rears are just as interesting. (sorry for the huge Mclaren pic)

In the late '60s / early '70s, a lot of Bentleys left the factory with Rolls-Royce cast on their rocker covers, which to some owners was a bit of an insult, but they were very much badge engineered Rollers at the time, so it was fair enough really. Ironically, only a year or two after Vickers sold Rolls-Royce and Bentley to BMW and VW, Rolls-Royce (aero engines) bought Vickers.

What's in a name? And would a Rose by any other name smell as sweet? Etc.

Best wishes, John

I'll second that. In fact I would go so far as to say that they are much more interesting, but, hey, each to his own . . .

I got the machine gun as I have a past with BSA.......no need for guns so build transportation that will always get you part way there.

Curious the involvement of the arms industry with luxury cars - Vickers with R-R and BSA with Daimler.
