West Point Ferrari Concours

The concours was held at West Point this past Sunday. My GTB was there, of course, and this beautiful 250 SWB won Best In Show.

Hi Dirk,

As you can see, it was combined with a Porsche show. But this Miura and Dino were there.

That's the only shot of the Dino I have, Dirk. Here's my friend's 365 GTC/4 though:

I think so too, Dirk. I corrected the picture of the Dino...lightened it a bit. I hope that's better now.

Thanks 308GTB. What a beautiful show. I love the 250SWB, meticulously restrored, one of my favourite Ferraris.

Hi 308 GTB,

since I'm working on a serial number database, I was wondering if you know the s/n of your friend's 365 GTC/4?

Thanks in advance!

Erik

Wow. That 250 GT SWB looks fantastic. I've always seen it as one of the most beautiful looking Ferraris. That Dino looks stunning. And of course, the 308's lookin' good as ever. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

It was my pleasure to share the pictures of the West Point concours with you. The pictures of the 250 SWB do not really do the car justice. It's spectacular and in excellent running condition. The owner was very nice to have driven it to the show as weather was forecast to be bad and indeed it rained heavily later in the day. Many owners stayed away because of the predicted rain.

Erik, I'll have that information on the 365 GTC/4 for you soon.

Barry

How was the atmosphere? Were owners pretty friendly?
