Looks a great day out - which got most attention the DB9 or the Stradale!

Morebhp,

That's an interesting question: The Diablo attracted the most attention from the general public as these cars invariably do. They are just so 'different'.

Obviously the Stradale attracted a great deal of attention from other members of our group; it is so singular in it's purpose. And the Aston was beautiful and traditional. I was surprised how well the driver managed to get the DB9 around the narrow country roads. He had a DB7 Vantage before and commented on how the handling had been improved extensively. I was taken for a run in it and it does compare favourably to a 550 which I still think is the benchmark that all other GT's are based on.

The 348 was a little beauty. Great condition and the tubi sounded fantastic screaming on the higher revs.

Wow that is a nice collection of cars! I love the Aston Martin. Does anyone know how many have been made?

How about the DB7? How many of those were made and how many DB9s are they thinking of making?

Boxer42,

The Diablo driver managed extremely well to get 'the beast' around the narrow country roads. He did tend to stay a couple of cars from the front to avoid those nasty 'round the corner' moments that driving such a wide car no doubt can provide. He is an experienced driver and made 'good progress'.

Dirk,
These aren't the cars that come down to Le Mans with me each year. If you want I can post some pictures from one of our trips ? I don't want to send them if no-one is too bothered. But if you want, I'm sure I have a few somewhere. By the way did you get my pm ? Bo would like a couple of your photos that you took of him at Spa...

Stradale,
Loved the recent shots that you posted of you and friends taking the Ferrari's out. Looks like we are all playing the same game but in different countries !! :P

Thanks for the positive replies guys.... and happy motoring.
