Why do people waste their money doing those conversions. I bet the conversions cost more than they're able to sell the car for.

As always you are so right. And because of this they will never have a real Ferrari. A bad investment no doubt.

poser.

That is hideous and there are people dumb enough to think he has a real Ferrari. When I was at Infineon last month there was a Fiero posing to be a 365 BB, to say the least it was awful.

Please don't call people posers or whatever. You don't like his car ok, I don't like it either, but to start calling him poser, while you don't even know the guy, that is wrong. In one thread we say we have to communicate to respect and learn from each other, and the next thread we start people calling posers without even speaking a word to them.

TR8 no less! Those were fun cars and collectable on their own. Well, one less in the world. All the others increase in value just a bit.

As a general rule, I'm not a fan of replicas - although I completely understand people building 250GTO replicas, as you simply can't buy one!!!

However, I don't actually view this as a replica - I think it's someone having a bit of a laugh. When it's as bad as this one - I think you just have to laugh along with them, as I'm sure that's what they're doing!!

Same thing driving around over here: a Lotus Esprit ''upgraded'' with Testarossa and Ferrari badges, Ferrari rims, steering wheel, and so on. Will tak ea pics of it as soon as I see it (hope this will be not to soon). Now the guy doesn't even own a genuine Lotus and something far from a Ferrari.
