Funniest Car Commercial I Have Seen in Long Time

You guys need to watch these ...

Watch the Mercedes commercial first ... then watch Jaguar's commercial

Mercedes is rather proud of their recent advancements in suspension technology. To spread the word, they produced a VERY clever advertisement.
Here is a link to view that spot.
Mercedes-Benz TV: MAGIC BODY CONTROL TV commercial "Chicken" - YouTube

Jaguar was impressed with the ad, but they wanted to show they had a slightly different take on what was truly important.
This is their answer!
Jaguar vs. Chicken | Jaguar USA - YouTube

Enjoy

If it has rosettes, it is a jaguar; if it has spots, it is a leopard.

I'm too lazy to go back and rerun the clips

Incorrect, both have rosettes. The cheetah has spots.

If you compare a full grown male leopard with a full grown male jaguar you should typically find that the jaguar has larger rosettes and is slightly bigger in frame and mass. Those are the typical distinctions. However, there are many sub species and within the same leopard region you will find variety in size and colour. There are even reportedly black leopards occasionally, which is more common with the jaguar.

That's a jaguar. Leopards are typically smaller and spots are different ... smaller

And I doubt that Jaguar motor cars would use anything else in their commercial

It's definitely a jaguar.

Judging the size of a leopard/jaguar however, in a room, with no reference specimens next to it, no reference objects, no full view of the animal, very brief clip AND from a computer screen is next to impossible.

In the clip you don't have the man and the jaguar in the same frame, it's cut together. But the camera movement wants to give you an idea of a regular size jaguar. Normally you would like to see it turn so you could check the crotch for balls In order to sex it 100%. If you can't see the crotch you need to carefully study the size of the neck, shoulders and head. A slimmer head and neck would tell a female apart from a young male but again, this is difficult and takes careful studying and you normally don't see them for too long as they are very elusive and sceptical to anything out of the normal. To a trained eye, a sensational male is easier to sex without catching a glimpse of his nuts.

Having only experience from leopards, I would humbly guess it's a young male jaguar in the clip but - ?

My experience is limited to cougars.

"Hey Maud, are those liver spots on the back of your hands actually rosettes? "

Hahaha!!

When the rosettes come all the way out on their hands it's definitely a very old female.

Shakespeare wrote something about actually taming them but I don't know if that can be done...?
