Identify this Ferrari

Hi, I was driving down the highway near Banning in my Ferrari and I was surprised to see this car. I thought I was the only one in this area to own a Ferrari. I don't think its real but I can't think of what kind it's supposed to be. Anyone know?

Roger that. It's appears to be one of the really bad fakes, so I don't think any real Ferraris were hurt to make this thing.

Yup, was going to say a Datsun/Nissan based replica. Proportions all wrong.

That really is SAD!! It makes the one in Dennis' picture look good.

Best wishes, John

You know, now that I've seen real 250GTO's, I can't believe for 1 minute that in the past I would not have been able to spot these. They are so horrible looking! But when the film Vanilla Sky came out in 1997, I didn't see Tom Cruise was driving a Datsun. When I see it now, I just have to look away!

LMAO, that is really bad!!! It would have been more valuable if the owner had just left it alone. Having owned a 1970's 240z, I have to admit, it was a pretty fun little car... it always put a smile on my face, and was far easier to work on than my 355. My first clutch change was on a 240z.

I agree 100%. 240Z is a great car in its own right and this is now being reflected in values for good ones. It is a great shame when a good car is destroyed to create a worse one.

Best wishes, John
