Owned the same Ferrari model twice?

I am considering buying a 430 Scuderia again. How many other people have bought the same model twice? What drove the decision to buy the same model a second time?

Aren't the reasons to buy the second time mostly the same as buying the first time? I guess the other question is whether the reasons you sold in the first place are still valid or not.
As for the Scud, I was surprised you sold it as you seemed to love it so much so buying another would make sense.

To be honest, parting the first time was a very difficult decision and driven by a few factors, one of which was a desire to switch to a LHD version which this would address.

More a case of spending a lot of time on the other side of the Channel. Personally find RHD tough on the continent.

Understandable, I would be the same with LHD here if it was daily.

Fulfillment. By experience sold my Elan. Then I tried in acquiring other Lotuses,Corvettes, Morgan all of which are unique. But fulfillment. None could match the Elan in my case. I used it at Limerock racetrack events and 0f course the Jersey shore.

Saw the video by Chris Harris. Amazing what picture conveys. Its the deep appeal to the senses from the engine revs, screaming exhaust and more subtly the vibration ,resonance evoked , that is so unique . Each has its own imprint and when you discover this essence, this soul, you keep the creation...why because it is you. who you are, in a way your alter ego,...you have found your soul.

when you do, cherish the moment and renew the experience with each excursion

don Knudsen

Naples, fl

ps my own search continues... V12 550,575, 599.. getting close
