So many great cars on that list. The White 365GTC is definitely a star though, boy that would be a sweet car to ride around in.

Josh- Think it was RHD. Drove those for years, but not as much fun over here.

The looks from those around you are entertaining though. In a previous life I took care of a couple Jag D-Types, I will admit that I can't drive a RHD car half as good as I can a LHD, it's completely different, muscle memory and all that...

'62 Jag e-typ cc or the '88 gtd40 mk2 would certainly be cool to own & take to the track.

Josh- I lived in the UK for 6 years and we had mixes of RHD and LHD cars, so it does not bother me much. Just a pain when you want to pass someone. Luckily the pedals are the same. You could always tell a newcomer to the UK at RAF Lakenheath, they would come up to a corner and the windshield wipers would come on instead of the turn signals, because those are reversed on UK built cars.

Hah, tourists. Convincing my LH to do the gear shifting took some concentration.

The two things I find terrifying when driving on the other side of the road are:
1. Mullt-lane round-abouts.
2. Rock walls inches from the passenger's side of narrow two-way roads.

As for left-hand shifting: no problem.

Brian- With more practice, you would get to love those round-abouts. They came in handy, too, because the road signs were not always logical in the 80s and early 90s. You would be following, say, the A13, and come to a roundabout with 6 exits and no A13 sign, just the name of some obscure village you never heard of. So make one or two trips around the round-about while the wife frantically looked for the correct village on the A13. Turned her into a pretty good map reader, though.

Also fun because they could be treated like a skid-pad.

Lots of rear-enders at round-about entrances where the trailing driver could clearly see there was plenty of room to enter, but the dolt up ahead thought it was too tight and stops. Especially bad when it was slick, which was most of the time.
