So I told my wife I was buying a Ferrari....

I told my wife boldly last night that I was buying a Ferrari AND keeping my Maserati.

She looked at me and said fine. Just not red.

She then rolled over and went to sleep.

I turned on HBO and watched "Game of Thrones"

Isn't marriage grand?

My Wife

She is a keeper. And she also said it had to be a manual so she could drive it. (I sold her Porsche 911 5 months ago because she thought she wanted a Chevy Volt for a greener environment. Luckily our area dealer can't carry the Volt.

I see her real soon looking good in a Ferrari. But first Paris this Saturday!

sounds good!

my wife said I "should" sell my Maserati to get my Ferrari....and i agreed because my Maserati was being rarely driven. plus, we're saving up now for something I think is better than the Maserati

What F car are you thinking of getting?

Maserati GranTurismo MC - Giallo yellow
Porsche 911 GT3 RS - black with orange accents - wife's car
F355 Berlinetta - Giallo Modena, 6-speed manual, carbon sport seats -recently traded in
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

I've been begging mine to sell her Lamborghini but she won't do it. I told her she could buy a closet full of shoes but no.

Three Italian cars is too much.

Ferrari Purchase

Well, in order to keep the Maserati, which is my daily driver and has a back seat, I am looking at a 328 GTS (not red) or a 355 Spider (not red). leaning towards the 328 or even a 308 QV. After Paris this week, the hunt begins. I might have traded up to a 430 IFF (if and only if) I was getting rid of the QP. I drove the 430 and loved it. The 360 was nice but not enough oomph. But optimistically in 5 years it will be a 430 Scuderia or even a 458 if my inheritance lasts and my wife continues to work. Turns out my kids have figured out that you don't have to get a job if you go to law school and grad school. And my 15 year old thinks she is going to ivy league.

TMI?

You win... I love the LM002. And hers to boot. Nice.

I said to my wife that we were getting a Ferrari and she said - you cannot sell my Maserati......

Damn I had to go through that three times. Supposedly she kept "forgetting" that I had mentioned it before.

Best of luck on the search.

When I tell my wife about a car purchase - her only comment is "that's nice".

Jimmy that's very funny

We have an agreement - for every horse there is a car and the last visit to the barn there was a section with her name on it plus the ones out of state

Good stuff!

This thread made me laugh. The P51 is great. I had a chance to ride a P51 but the guy wanted me to buy his Varga Kachina. I passed.

Off to Paris and visiting Jim Morissey and Chopin.

You guys are a fun group.

I have only finished the first season of Game Of Thrones. It's the episode where some lady queen goes into a fire after smothering her husband and delivers 3 baby dragons. Good show.

Ferrari (not red) by the end of the summer. I'll post pictures of test drives and final purchase

LOL, love this thread

I thought I was the only one with the perfect wife, to wit:

ME: How do you like the red TR?

HER: It's nice, but where is the blue Ferrari?

ME: The dealer took it as a trade-in for his daughter.

HER: I never told you that you couldn't own TWO Ferraris.

ME: Who are you, and what have you done with my wife?

We know we are blessed: one wife, many cars.
