Is there something wrong with Flife?

Strange,

Usually when I log back into a site, the thread's where I am the last person to post are not highlighted in dark blue, because I was the last person to read them. This has happened over the past couple of days. Anyone else experiencing this, and this is with no new posts to certain threads.

Are you using tapatalk? Have you just upgraded to HD. You need to swipe frequently to refresh other wise nothing updates.

I am just using windows explorer for my browser, on a Dell P/C. It is doing the same thing on my IPAD when I post around bedtime.

Had an issue similar to that last week. Turns out my new version of Firefox has a button to "tell web site that I don't want to be tracked". I had to shut that off, remove my FLife cookies and re-enter. It fixed the problem but allows other websites I would prefer didn't track me (like google) to do so. I'm hoping the next version of FLife will address this issue, Otherwise, I'll have to Punt.

At risk of hijacking the thread but I've noticed something else that seems broken with Flife. I used to stay logged into Flife for weeks at a time without having to enter my name/pwd. About 2 weeks ago I started having to enter my credentials 1-2 times per day on my laptop (safari browser). The weird thing is I don't have to do this on my iPad (it just stays logged in).

Did something change on Flife or is it just me??

I've got the same thing, have had it on FLife for years. Irritating.

Be patient all. Andrew says the next Flife will be better. I'll assume there will be some bugs to work out but that's what we are here for.

Food that comes from the right? Do you only eat conservatives?

I'm going to rename the cookie, which will effectively log all users out and reset everyone's cookie.

Before I do that, I will give everyone proper notice so we'll all be expecting it.

Tossing our cookies, eh? New version looks very slick!

Once this reset is done, will my session remain logged in as it had in the past or will I have to log-in agains after every few hours of inactivity (Safari browser on current MacOS)?

I'm using safari with OS10.7.3 and I don't have to log in again. Mostly I browse using tapatalk on iPad but when I come back to my desktop days later never have to log in!

Doug- There were a few squirrels a while back, but this new lay-out seems to have cured them. Plus it looks great.

Interesting that you type in Times New Roman and it comes up in Arial (I think).

I agree - every time you guys upgrade the forum it's more readable and easier to navigate.

Terry I have no idea - don't want to admit this being a fan of apple but I think my laptop is dying and some viruses have helped ... upside down pictures and often the text I read on here appears cryptic.
