Front Engine, Rear engine, or Mid-engine?

To me there are only two ways for a car to get me around. Either it pushes me or it pulls me. A mid-engine would have to be like the old dragsters, you are sitting on top of the engine. If an engine is behind me, it is a pusher and a rear engine. I care not what the “engineers” tell me about the engine’s position with regards to the axles. My body tells the truth about how I am moving.

Am I alone in my assessment?

12 cylinders or walk

I am confused at what you are asking and where you want to go with this? There are great front, mid-engined cars, and rear engined cars.

I think he is just pointing out a big Daytona v12 up front makes him feel like he's being pulled and a flat 6 in the back of a 911 makes him feel like he's being pushed for example.

Truth be told, when I drive I forget about it unless I'm in an old 911, then I feel it. My 75 911 would make you pay if you over stepped. Most balanced FR and MR car I don't even think about it.
