Pictorial History of FL Members Ferraris: 2012 Update

I found a folder while cleaning up the hard drive on my laptop containing pictures of all the Ferraris I have owned over the years. I had forgotten that I put it together and it was a bit out of date so I have added the latest.

It would be great if everyone could add to this thread with their pictorial Ferrari history.

Here are the first set.

Great shots. I don't often say this about a car but I think I'd seriously consider giving my left testicle to own a F40. Congrats to you on your success!

Boxer- Your tastes have migrated towards more elite cars over the years. They all look nice.

a little bit of everything...V8, turbo V8, flat 12, V12...

and I still maintain that the early 90's-mid 00's were the high water mark for Ferrari design. 355, 456, 550/575...all gorgeous cars.

sadly now we have a gussied up Maserati and a $400k GTi

Great collection, Boxer. Wonderful to remember them. I counted 4 of your cars which I've been lucky enough to drive or co-drive. But actually there was a fifth of yours, I've driven the most and that one is missing: Your black Plexi Daytona !?

Thanks and good observation. I have tended to move towards the more raw Ferraris over the years.

Thanks. It was a great car. Real pleasure to drive. Very early fiberglass model.

Here she is four years later...A brilliant driving Ferrari, way better than I expected. I remain indebted to Boxer for selling this beautiful GTB to me. Fired her up this past Saturday after three weeks of sitting, I do not bother with a battery charger and as usual, she fired up and we enjoyed a terrific 200km drive. We have covered over 20,000km together and she fits like a glove. Bumped into Jeroen and his superb 550 at our specialist. Was good to catch up over a cup of coffee, roll on FLED 6!

David- I do not use a maintainer either. My theory (completely unsubstantiated) is it shortens battery life if a car is fairly regularly driven.

Here are mine!

My history with FL coincides almost exactly with my Ferrari history. It's been great growing up together. I've learnt so much and I hope as I've learnt I've been able to contribute too. Otherwise those were over 3,000 posts wasted...

I still own all of these Ferraris, although Vitalone now owns part of the last Boxer and she'll soon be his.

David/Boxer,
How nice to see that Boxer's former (and beautiful) GTB has found a new and extremely sympathetic owner within this community, I didn't know! Although a while ago you sold it to David, I can imagine it must be nice to see it in such good hands and being able to follow it's adventures, Boxer?
Will Onno's Car be an addition to the collection David, or are you selling the GTB?

Thanks for your kind words, Jeroen. The little GTB and I have enjoyed brilliant adventures together and with good friends. I am looking for a good home for the GTB to realise my dream of owning a Boxer again. Each month I buy lottery tickets, a win would be an elegant solution to add the Boxer to the collection while continuing to enjoy the tiny, brilliant, safe GTB!

The 308 GTB could not have gone to a better owner. I have really enjoyed following its continued adventures.
