Ferrari cost

How much does yearly cost to own an ferrari?
I heard all kind of things like you must to "remake" the engine every 10 000km or something like that, change the engine's fluids every 2000 or so, bla bla bla
is that true?
I am talking about brand new ferrari (or 3-5 years second ones)

Also, how much do this "monsters" eat ?12 liters? or 30? because i saw so many infos and it's pretty hard for me to believe a car can eat 14L/100 km urban and 35L/100 extra urban.

BG GG- Welcome to Ferrari Life. If you are talking about an F430/Scud, California, 599, or 458, servicing costs are only about $1000 per year, not counting tires. There is really no major service like the earlier cars such as the 348, 355 or Testarossa that require the engine to be removed every 3-5 years to change the rubber cam belts. The new cars have cam chains instead. For the vast majority of Ferrari owners, service is only once a year.

Afraid I do not speak liters/100 kms, but if you go to ferraridatabase.com, you can download owners manuals for the models that interest you and you will find consumption numbers. Fuel consumption sucks on Ferraris, but if you want to play, you have to pay, or something like that.

Lots of old wive's tales out there about Ferraris. Hopefully you will stick around and learn how to run up the BS flag on them yourself.

Welcome to Flife - Terry pretty much covered everything.

The key in my opinion is having a place like this to keep you from wasting money and getting it right the first time.

Guaranteed to make you smile every time you turn the key!

Suggest you download a few of the buyers guides to get an idea on the different running costs: Ferrari Buyer's Guides - Ferrari Life
