308 vs 288gto

Are two turbos really worth an extra 420,000 sterling?
Theres a few other bits but, purely from a driving point of view thats a nice bit of cash...

I know they are different cars, but if you look really quick

Brian- Yup, they are, plus a few other differences. The contrast is between a limited production supercar and a very pretty, mass produced exotic.

There are 308 GTO look-alikes out there if you want one. They do not cost nearly as much as a GTO.

To answer the question, need to start with the two different materials that the cars body panels are made out of.

I see. My thinking was a 308 + 420,000 would give you a few project options! But I totally understand about the Gto being rare.

Brian- The 288 GTO is the only one of the Ferrari Supercars that was initially homologated to qualify for a race series. It was supposed to be the street version of a Group B rally car, but Group B was cancelled in favor of, at the time, cars closer to stock.
