2012 Acquisition?

The Colonel's latest spectactular purchase has definitely inspired me to start thinking about what would be the right car for a potential 2012 acquisition. Right now the list is:

430 Scuderia
Mosler Photon (which would be a replacement/swap for the current Mosler MT900S)

Photon is an easier choice as it is a one in one out situation. 430 Scuderia more difficult as I really don't want to part with any of the others but don't have room for an additional car.

Anyone else starting to make acquisition plans for next year?

Then the next acquisition could be a bigger garage

'99 550, Rosso Corsa / Nero, S/N:114654, Assy: 31836, Engine: 52084

High mileage, low compression, and missing on a few cylinders.....just like my cars.

For some reason I have it in my mind that the Photon was a "one-off". Does that mean you will have the only one in existence?

It is not intended to be a one off, they just have only produced one to date.

I was really hoping to get something by October.

What about a Bentley SS - I have seen them with a 1000 miles 100k off sticker.

or the ultimate on my wish list!!!!

That Aston Martin is awesome.

A Bentley SS is way too soft for Boxer

Agreed ... had to toss in the Zagato.

Yes but it is much more useable on a daily basis.

In the budget was limitless, I would probably opt for a Maserati MC12.

If you are going to go the Aston route, suggest you look at the DBS.

For 2012, i hope to be able to afford to replace my carpeted luggage shelf with a leather luggage shelf. A man has to know his limitations.
