Took mine out to dinner tonight. Best lobster roll and clam chowder i've had outside of Maine. The homemade whoopie pie was to die for as well. To top it off they had eagle rare whisky behind the bar. got it back in the garage 5 min before the thunderstorm. Now to the drinkin....

Nice ride!! I have only seen one of those in all my years of Ferrari Spotting. The one I saw was at the FCA event in Savannah in June. I did the Sunday Morning Rally and rode in a 430 Coupe and one of our cruising group had a Barchetta.

Barchetta set up is great, as long as it does not rain. My F50 has been set up this way from day 1.

Thanks.
Believe it or not, we now have 3 of these cars in Calgary. After seeing one for the 1st time in person in 2007, I decided I wanted a Barchetta over the 430 as I was seriously wanting to buy the 430 at the time. It is such a fun car to cruise in and it is no slouch either!
I tried to buy that Barchetta, but the owner said that it was not for sale. I found this one in the US in the fall of 2009.
The 3rd one was just purchased recently from the US as I had changed my mind to sell it to this person. So now there is three.

Agreed.
I got caught in the rain once and if you keep driving fast enough; you don't get wet! Ask me how I know

It is sure nice to have the open top on nice, warm days though.

I've been caught a time or two with the top off in my 308 QV, but kept moving as much as possible and largely arrived at my destination dry.

Three?? Wow, thats unexpected. If I recall correctly, there were only about 420 produced worldwide - so thats a pretty high concentration in my opinion.

The guy who had the one at the FCA event also owns a 599GTO if I was informed correctly.

a funny story. i was at a small baltimore event for the first year i believe and three showed up. what are the chances? could you imagine rolling into this local show thinking you have it locked up and two more show up? i don't know how many are in the US but 175 seems to stick in my head as the number. pretty rare.
