There is a thread with some info

http://www.ferrarilife.com/forums/vi...rrari-v12.html

If it's just a shell you have then just like any "car" a restoration would be pretty expensive, is in 3-4 times the cost of just buying a nice example. With just a shell the best choices are sell it to someone who needs it for a restoration or fit it to a modern go-kart chassis or something and enjoy it.

I agree with 'mk e'. IMO this body would only be useful to someone that already had a Bimbo Racer needing a body. It would not be worth using as a basis for a restoration.

Bimbo Racer up for Auction Sept 30th

Hi,
I'm the owner and I do have some extra photos, the auctioneer also has many more photos of the car. I think its good condition.
Here are more photos. I know the bidding is going on now, the last day is Sept 30 for bids.
You can call Mike Evans at C Street Auctions, Broken Bow Nebraska, he can send more photos as well.
His number is 308 870 0906 or the auctioneer Jim Cristen at 308 870 0912

There is the original brochure and also my dads original receipt in 1956. He also bought an extra grill and a pair of headlights just in case we needed replacements down the road.
My direct email is [email protected]
