I am trying to figure out a different format. To do a magazine layout the way I've been on FLQ is crazy time consuming. It is worth it, I'd just like to figure out a way more efficient way to pull all the data together. I've looked at the iPad and that isn't too much easier.

How would people fell about it being in a blog format? In 1 year we did about 32 articles. Here we could do 26 every other week. I just feel like people expect blogs to be updated daily. Thoughts?

I don't think daily updates would be expected by most... it's more important to have comparable (or superior!) content to what's available through other channels such as Autoblog, Jalopnik, etc.

I'm sorry, but I'm actually quite angry about having to deliver an article with a deadline of the 15th of July 2010 (that is the deadline I was given), and no quarterly has been released containing it. My time is precious and I gave another publication a "no" because I write only for 1 magazine at a time and FerrariLife is highest on my list of priorities. 9 months later my article has never seen daylight and I've just wasted my time.

Sorry - maybe my Dutch nature is too harsh for AngloSaxon sensibilities, but really, I don't think that is right.

Please keep FLQ alive...

I think FLQ is fantastic. I'm sure it's labor intensive, but it's something to share with friends and family who are interested in Ferraris and might not otherwise read some of the stories about these wonderful cars which are both interesting and entertaining, e.g., FLED.

I know nothing about publishing or software beyond 'Word' and 'Powerpoint' or I would offer to help.

I agree Colonel, it is a great publication and it's been a privilege and pleasure to write for it. I am hoping I'll see my article about the 2010 Mille Miglia Tribute in the 330GTC in FLQ one of these days.
