What's your favourite car?

You can pick two, a car from the past and something that's on sale right now.

My choices are:

A brand new Aston Martin DBS

A classic Ferrari 365

I know it's a lame question but i'm in that kind of mood................

There really isnt anything new that interests me.

I already have a carbed 308 GTB, check one.

A 166 MM Barchetta would be nice, but so would a Countach, F40, 288, 250 TR, 250 Lusso, 250 SWB, etc.....

How does one choose?

Odd as it may seem to some, I would most likely want the 308, and one other. The 308 is almost "perfect".

I already have a 308 too. New cars.... hmmmm...... perhaps a Veyron Supersport, though I've been pining for an E63 as of late.

There is an article in the November 10 Forza about a warmed over 512 BB that would be pretty sweet too.

Current: 85' GTS QV
It's a simple process...... it's just complicated by human beings....

Yes you're right, it is a lame question. Nonetheless I shall answer it!

I feel the same about things that are on sale right now - they rank lower than older cars, generally. If I must choose, and I cannot sell it on, then I think the Ferrari 458. It's the car that speaks most to me of what is on sale right now.

From the past? An Alfa Romeo P3 previously raced by Tazio Nuvolari!

although i do like the SS, i don't really need that extra 5mph. As you can see from my choices, i'm more of a spyder fan. So, i guess the vert stays.

Nothing in the current range really grabs my interest.

Slightly older, would have to be the F50

A 275 is probably my favorite but the F50 is pretty close behind. Right behind those is my tweaked 308, I just love it.

I saw two stunningly beautiful blond girls in a car a couple of days ago. They pulled out of the drive through liqueur store so I know there was booze in the car. That's the car I want.

1. 250GT SWB SEFAC Hot Rod
I was lucky enough to see and hear one at Pebble Beach this year. Beyond cool. The 250GT SWB has always been my favorite older Ferrari, but the SEFAC takes it to an entirely different level.

2. F50.
It's still the coolest car ever made, in my opinion. There are certainly better cars in nearly every regard, but it's pure for what it is.

Ferrari F40, sorry but it's the only car that always makes me feel like a 5 year old. It's not a grown up car, and I just love it for that!

A modern option would have to be the 458. IMHO, the best Ferrari in far too many years.

Garage
I favor the F50 too, but was surprised when a friend bought a 16M last week. Looking closer at the ads, Ferrari compares the 16M to the F50 and claims the 16M's performance overcomes the F50
