well, Ford's new found wealth should finally make it possible for them to acquire that '60s 'issue'

.

.
.
..
but, if true...and I think it's a bad move for the tech behind in Ferrari is behind other models they'll keep, that some Abudabi will acquire it ....
.
.
.
I truly suspect this to be a 'stalking horse' to just see where Ferrari's worth stands today. Nothing more.

Putting 2 and 2 together...

From the NY Times article:

"Some of the more exotic Ferrari store goods on display at the auto show included... a Colnago-Ferrari carbon-fiber bicycle for a cool €12,500.
Mr. Montezemolo said Ferrari started the licensing business “not for economic reasons, but just to protect the brand.”
By licensing, for example, Ferrari logo T-shirts, he said, he could ensure that when unauthorized knock-offs appeared, “then I don’t have to send my lawyer, the T-shirt maker will send his lawyer.”

I didn't know counterfeit Ferrari bicycles were so rampant(e)....
