I must stop watching it because it will flip me back to craving the latest Ferrari technology and that is expensive... The sound is just right though! My word it sounds fabulous!!!
I am always slow at getting used to new models. I thought the 458 was too civilized when I test drove it (I still think so) and I am not so fond of the LED sweept-up front lights. That belongs to Audi, Cadillac and Lamborghini. But now I've begun to like the 458 in spite of the LED and accept it little by little. I am not going to buy it. I want my next to be a classic again and I can't afford both. It is unfortunately not perfect in my favourite colour grigio Nuerburgring but I think it looks great in black. It definitely needs a dark colour IMO.
My regrets of the 458 being too civilized will have a solution when the 458 "Scud" arrives. That is the car to own if you want the ultimate track Ferrari. Another solution is to drive the 458 Challange at the dealer's track events. That is going to be my way forward. It will cool the need to own a "458 Scud" and that will hopefully permit me financially to add another classic to the stable in a couple of years.
Long live the 458 Challange!
The bad news: Time flies
The good news: I'm the pilot
