What name have you given your car?

OK...and I know I'm not alone here, but some of us Ferrariholics need to come up with a name for our respective beloved F-cars.

If you have one please share it with a pic or if you like....help me name mine!

I've never given my car names, but my wife has.

"The blond"... a '65 Mustang Fastback.. pre-resoration it was white, now blue.... she still calls it "The BLond"

"The red head"... my '97 F355 Rosso Barchetta

"The Bitch"... my 1976 Lancia Scorpion... tho I have called it worse names working on it.

She also calls my in progress Lancia Stratos replica "The Puta"

This is nitpicking but the name is 360 Modena. Not F360. Just so you know.

To each their own. Some prefer a name to further personalize and deepen the relationship with their car.

I have a a red E46 M3 dubbed "Phoenix." I refer to her as an E46, too.

In the past, I had a black F430 named 'Jet.' It was slick and wick cool looking, reminded me of a fighter jet; hence, the name.

In the end, all that matters is what you want.

Not named it per se, but my wife has been known to refer to my car in public as "....his black mistress, who he spends more time with than me!"

I'll give her credit, it's not a bad icebreaker for dull get togethers.

'99 550, Rosso Corsa / Nero, S/N:114654, Assy: 31836, Engine: 52084

High mileage, low compression, and missing on a few cylinders.....just like my cars.

I sometimes refer to my cars with the following nicknames:

F430 Spider - Shorttrip
612 Scaglietti - Longtrip
246 Dino GTS - Dino
RR Corniche DHC - Sloop
RR Phantom V - Titanic
G55 AMG - Boer (from boerdog)
G400 Desert - Rommel
Buick 225 Electra - Badyear (it's as long as a bad year)
BMW - Bim
Pickup - Pickup

Mighty Joe, here are some suggestions for your 360 Berlinetta:

Black
Toobad
Macchina
Nera
Bitch
Progirl
Screamer
Spanked

Take care!

That sounds great. But on the Harry Potter theme I think Harry Puta sounds like business as well...

Take care!

The name of my 430 is "Ninja Mountain" with matching license plate. I have done quite a bit of climbing (not as much as I used to now) and have conquered Mount Rainier twice along with a good portion of the Colorado 14'ers and other major peaks. Often times while climbing, you can run into false summits or hard routes where you simply want to give up. The mountain becomes tough almost like some sort of "ninja" mountain that keeps kicking your a$$ but you simply forge ahead. I have been a fan of Ferrari for years and saved diligently for over 10 years so I could purchase my 430 earlier in life (at the age of 32) with cash so I could truly enjoy it in good health! "Ninja Mountain" is a moving testament to sticking to your "route" in life and obtaining the "summits" of life. The power of positive thinking gets you there!
