Ferrari will never build four-door cars

it seems that Ferrari would never produce a four-door model, because it doesn't want to follow Aston Martin and Porsche's steps
besides this, it just isn't part of the company's long heritage to build sedans
“If you want a four-door Ferrari, we have a Maserati" said Amedeo Felisa, Ferrari chief executive

With Ferrari situated as it is, a four door seems unlikely now.

The management at Porsche claims their decision to build an SUV was solely based on seeing owners driving SUVs while their Porsche was in for service.

Enzo saw Pinin's 1980 four door concept car and considered such an endeavor... http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/16/4...-at-maranello/

Lamborghini debuted the four door Estoque concept car at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, and that refueled interest from Ferrari at that time.

I remember a 308 being stretched to four doors and making the cover of Road and Track in the late 70's. I was surprised to actually see a four door 308 in front of a hotel in Atlanta shortly thereafter. It didn't work for me, but there was a rage of stretched Corvettes after that.

Here are some four door concept car images...

Might happen

and one would hope Ferrari would do it right, but it doesn't seem possible with current concepts.

Just went to an aston martin rapide launch party last night. Supposedly they had the only one in the country there. It was a stretch to call it a four door. The back seat is very claustrophobic. Come to think of it, so was the front seat. Ingress and especially egress where not to classy, but hey i'm used to that with low sports cars. Chicks where smokin though and the free booze was tasty! wouldn't mind the DBS they had there though. with an aftermarket exhaust that thing sounds awesome.

Maserati is the way to go imo for 4 door sedans. And still in the "family" with their detuned Ferrari engines.
