NJ Ferrari Apprentice Service Technician

Hello everyone. I am new to the site but not new to Ferrari. I am a huge fan and a fan of Formula 1. I am looking to get back into the automotive industry after a long career in sales and if there are any dealerships or independent shops looking for an apprentice technician or if some one you know is looking please contact me.

I'm also very good with computers and I am always doing research and keeping up with new technologies in the automotive field. I live in Northern NJ and I am also very close to New York. My email is [email protected].

Thanks!

Welcome.

I would think there are some good shops in your area with whom you could check.

Ferrari shops seem to frequently be looking for good mechanics and techs.

If you are not a mechanic now, my guess is you will have to start with another marque. Times are tough right now and i'd be surprised if a dealer or a specialty shop is looking for inexperienced mechanics to work on their ferraris. But, what do i know? YMMV.

You might be lucky if you want to pay some dues up front. As a mechanic I am not sure you'll get many hits to invite you. But you never know. Thing is about some mechanics, is a certified Ferrari mechanic would either want you truly Ferrari qualified, or exotic qualified, or as times entry journeyman as they can train you 'correctly'. Too many have their own ways set, and not either free or interested to do it the Ferrari way. I've heard that first hand from more than a few in the biz.
