F430 price check

Hello everyone,

After a failed attempt to buy a 2006 Spider late last year, I am back in the game. I am looking at a black on tan F430 coupe with 2200 miles, F1, warranty till 2/10, after market wheels (original wheels also included in the sale), some options (CD changer, upholstered roof, some CF). CarFax is clean, shows as a one owner but registered to the first owner at 1130 miles and I confirmed with the seller it is a two owner (could it be a demo?). There are some service records as well which I will ask for only if I decide to make the trip down.

What do you guys think it's worth? Won't post the asking price yet so the results are not skewed Also, should I do a PPI or just because it's under warranty I should be safe?

Thanks,
Sergio

Warranty til 2010... you didn't say what year F430 you were looking at now, only the mileage.

I am sorry, it is a 2007 and it is in the US. Boxer, I assume the price you quoted (about $130K in USD) is for a 2005 or 2006, right?

Thanks again,
S

Do get the PPI done.

Even if you trust seller/warranty, it's a 'no regrets' move: costs are negligible and - esp. if you're there during inspection - you might at the very least learn some interesting stuff.

Best of luck!
Irvin

For a PPI? Depends, in the US anywhere between $300 and $700 I'ld guess

Sorry, couldn't resist. OK, my guess for a nice 2007 (F1?) would be $140-170k? But surely there are people with more expertise around. Tried FML yet?

Yes, it is an F1. Seems like $150K is a fair price, everyone agree?

Here's a 2006 with a wicked interior... 14K miles, $133K at Catsexotics:

So I'm thinking a nice 2007 with low miles would probably be another $15K.

I plan to purchase a 2007 F430 next year December, by then I'll have about $50K to put down on the car... hopefully I'll be able to find a 6 speed Spider at a decent price then.

Whew! That interior is awesome! Right down to the key chain hanging down to the stick shift sticking up!
