Not only does it not have power steering, but it has a tiny MOMO wheel, making parallel parking a real test!

+1 It's always best to tell us more about yourself and let us know the thinking behind the random questions.

The 3x8 cars steer very nice as long as you are moving. Very tight steering with great feel. Like driving a go cart. With the engine in the back there is not a lot of weight in the front so it's not like trying to steer a muscle car from the 60's without power steering.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Just wanna get the facts before I buy my first Ferrari. So far, I think I might go for a 360 Modena or 550.

So you want the facts on a 308 but you're leaning towards a 360 or a 550? That's pretty broad.... and pretty vague too.

How bout you give us a bit of insight into who you are? Are you looking at buying one soon as in a few months or soon as in like 5 or ten years? See... the group of us are a pretty closely knit. Most of us know a little something of who our fellow enthusiasts are.

Current: 85' GTS QV
It's a simple process...... it's just complicated by human beings....

Well, umm... Hmm. I really don't know what else to say. My profile says it all. I just came here to get my facts straight. I would probably buy one WAY longer than 5 years or so.

Don't be offended, we are just a bit touchy since we just chased away some idiot that was just trolling and asking dumb questions everyday. We figured him to be a 14 yr old kid, not that we care if it is a kid but when you're pretending to be something else is when we have a problem.

Nothing wrong with having dreams if you don't have the money yet or too young to squeeze the trigger on buying one of these cars. Just be open when you ask some of the questions and you will probably get serious answers.

Someone that posts questions just to start controversy without adding anything to the discusion is considered a troll and we don't take kindly to trolls.

You're off to a good start, welcome to the group. I probably went about 10 years after getting the bug before I bought my 328.

Just don't ask us if owning a Ferrari will get you laid!

If you find the local group on here the probably meet up once in a while. Good way to get to know some of the people and the cars. I'm sure the LA group is pretty active. Here on the east coast there are a bunch of groups that meet up once in a while. In the DC area a bunch of us attend what we call the "Donut" on Sunday mornings and sometimes go for a spirited drive afterwards.

Good idea is to post to that region on Flife and introduce yourself.

Michael --

Just to reinforce what the others are saying, treat conversations in here the way you would treat conversations in person. Saying or asking things out of context (or with no context at all) is just kind of strange. There is a lesser degree of anonymity on this forum than on many internet forums, and general good manners conversational decorum is well received and appropriate here. (For example, when one joins a forum like this, it is good form to introduce yourself, say a little about your background and interest in the cars, etc.)

I see... Well, I suppose I could, but there really is nothing to tell about myself other than the fact that I'm studying in college hoping to be a health administrator so that one day, I can buy the Ferrari of my dream

To tell you the truth, I don't really know how to utilize my profile options that much, but if you must know... I want a Ferrari before I turn 30
