Cost to own F355 Vs. 360

Just got a question. Which model offers higher maintenance costs? Sounds vague, but bare with me.

Obviously experienced owners here will have more succinct insight into your question, but I think as a general rule of thumb, older models tend to cost more for routine maintenance than newer ones. At least, this is what I've heard when comparing the 360 to the F430.

In my experience, the F355 was roughly 2X the maintenance cost of the 360.

Much higher for 355

Comparing cost of keeping up my 360 with same for several good friends who drive 355s, it appears Boxer is about right at 2X for the 355. I actually thought it was a bit more but 2X is pretty close.

Also the 360 never had the dreaded "Check Engine Light 1-4" come on.

Very true indeed! never the less 355 is truly a awesome car both looks and drive, is difficult to choose a car when you already have in mind selling it before the purchase... however the 360 does grow on you the longer you long at it the better it looks and the interior is much better too. Good luck

Cheers

If you are mechanically inclined you can do a fair amount of work on the 355.

The 360's are easier to work on mechanically and require less maintenance.

It's hard to beat the look of a 355 spider however all due respect to David's very nice silver 355 coupe!
