Ferrari v Corvette

I should be embarrassed. As a fifty year old practicing attorney and former municipal judge I know better but this guy driving his newish vette beside me finally got on my nerves.
I previously owned a 550 , which could hold its own.
I loved my Ruf turbo R which was amazing.
I did not know what would happen with the vette vs 360.
The 360 pulled away quite nicely and the F1 made it easy. Boy did it sound great !
I have to admit I loved the head to head win. How childish of me.

Nothing to be embarrassed, this is just the natural retro-genesis for most people. Great to see your human instinct is healthy.
I presume you let go of your Ruf Turbo R ? If I may speak for all of us, would love to hear your experiences here or in a new thread.
By the way, I am sure you had a smile (or grin), ear to ear when that encounter was over. w/ smiles Jimmy

Not your fault, you know, probably just some of that "sudden acceleration" technical difficulties that's been going around lately.

Too bad you not still a judge because I would have said, be easy on the next guy instead of throwing the book at him.

People who dont have these kind of cars dont understand, they think we are delinquents idiots with no sense of responsibility. But it’s a drug and it can sometimes take the better of us.

I lent my 50 year old mother my MR2 Turbo back in the mid 90’s and she once got home and the engine was ticking like crazy when she got home, I asked her how was the ride, she said, wow, that puppy moves up to 200 km/h in no time… And my Dad who drove his car 20 km/h under the speed limit ALL the time, I once caught him doing 120 km/h on our 50 km/h road.

So no worries, you get a pass from me...hehehe!!!!

Don't feel bad. I embarrass myself all the time. Sometimes in Ferraris, sometimes in corvettes.

Wet-

I'm happy to see that it seems to be taken from the passenger position... I would have been worried for your state of mind otherwise.

this one was taken by me while driving. usually i take them cause i'm in the car alone. This one, my 75yo father was with me telling me to slow down, but he doesn't know how to operate my camera. Although I consider myself a safe driver with no points or accidents, my state of mind...........

you should get a small webcam, and wire it on top of your steering column watching the dash... then you'd always have a nice, steady shot of your tach/speedometer
