Faulty windshield washer warning

On my 99 360 the low windshield washer fluid warning light is constantly on in the dash. The reservior is full and when top-offed will go out for a day or so. I used an ice machine hose to feed down into the reservior and blew into it and tried to "burp it" but that did not work. Any suggestions on how to reset/fix?

could it be a stuck sensor? Try disconnecting that or jiggling the wire. Sure the light is being triggered from the source. I don't know if that light, can/is needing to be reset via a ODBII, but wouldn't doubt it.

PS: Try PMing Greg Calo username = gcalo ... he is a wiz on the 360's

I had the same problem. The sensor in the washer fluid tank had to be replaced. You have to take the front bumper off to get to it. The part is less than 100.00 US. The cost is in the labor if you dont do it yourself.

Hey, Tom - we still need to meet up one day and see each other's cars! Maybe Big Bob Gibsons BBQ in Decatur?

I have no answer on the 360 washer fluid light, never had that happen on mine...
