Personally, I would NOT plan to replace the bags nor even enter into negotiation for a lowering of the price IF expired.
I LOVE air bags, but they can easily total these cars, especially the 456. The hood alone > $30,000USD unfinished: Kevlar and Carbon Fib. so with the air bags deploying this would total the car.
I would even like to turn them off.
here's why: If I can drive 'old school' in a Mondial T cabriolet with crummy belts, why not the 456?
I know I too love the safety but to total my car based on an air bag deploy when all is well or minor damage, or BECAUSE they have 'expired', well, NOT.
