1986 328 gts want to replace str wheel

if i buy a momo wheel will i still need adapt kit ?

Hi, I'm sorry but I don't quite understand the question without a bit more context.

If you own an '86 328 your steering wheel is bound to be a basic three-spoke Momo. Now if you buy a new one just like it, I'm not sure what needs to be adapted. Just loosen the 6 hex-bolts, switch wheels and tighten again.

So are you considering another type of Momo? And is that a wheel with controls on it or something?

yes have a 86 328 gts looking to replace str wheel

found a momo devil str wheel on line or a momo race wheel do i need a special adapt kit for the swap thanks mike

Don't know the "Devil" personally (), but as far as I can judge it has a similar 6-bolt pattern (see pic).

Given that wheel controls (other than the horn) are nil, just to be sure, one easy thing to ask seller (or Momo) for is the spacing (in mm) between the bolts. Then simply verify whether it's exactly the same.
