Ferrari Watches

Does anyone collect these Ferrari watches available at the Ferrari store?

Obviously, they aren't Panerais, but what do you think about these watches?

Personally I think Ferrari needs to not go the route Porsche has and slap their brand on anything they can. Only a car and a few very other select items should have the Scud shield and Ferrari name.

Yes. Ferrari has many "official" watches... timer, pit crew, store, and brands. It's a little confusing as to what constitutes "the" Ferrari Watch.

As for the "official" watch as I best can tell, Girard Perregaux used to be the official Ferrari watchmaker, but now it's Panerai. I have no idea if I am right on this, but I think I am.

Anyone know for sure?

I see my line below, and I'll fix it after I eat dinner (being called for the third time)

I think FERRARI did ok with the prestigious PANERAI both having Italian heritage, blood. I do agree not marketing the name on multiple products like PORSCHE. Although to be fair... in the watch department PORSCHE did not license a watch company but outright bought it! They (Porsche) acquired controlling interests of the Swiss watchmaker ETERNA.

I think they are nice with exception of being quartz not mechanical. It seems to me that there is no official watch brand for FERRARI.
