Schumi no longer advisor to F1 team

Michael Schumacher will reportedly no longer be an advisor to Ferrari's F1 team.

The seven time world champion recently renewed his contract with the Italian marque through 2012, referring specifically to his input into the road cars department.

Whether his ongoing role would involve F1 was not specifically mentioned in the September announcement, but Spain's Diario AS reports that Schumacher will not be involved with the team.

However, Schumacher will continue to attend some grand prix races, although not as many as before.

Whatever happened there? There were rumours that a significant portion of the F1 team felt Schumy was more hinderance than help on the pit wall and in general during the F1 weekends. Anyone know if there was any truth in that?
