A Tale of Two 308 Videos

Greetings all,

Last Saturday, my wife and I went for a drive through some rural parts of northwest Ohio. Having a digital camera on hand, I naturally begged her to get out of the car and film some passes of the car through various scenes/roads.

Add a little bit of editing with Windows Movie Maker, and a video is born.

However, I made two different versions of the video. They are frame-for-frame exactly the same; the only difference is the music. I'd like to hear your opinions -- watch both, and tell me which you prefer, and why, or what kind of a mood or feel each backing music gives it.

Here is the original video:
Watch this version first, because this is the one that the shots are actually cut to match.

Then watch the second version, below, with different music:

Let me know what you think of each . . .

P.S.: By the way, if you're expecting hard rock or club music to go with every single Ferrari video . . . well, you won't find it this time!

Think I'd go with the 2nd one. But I do like the way the last note of the music ends exactly on cue with the screen going black at the end....

Ferrari's: 360 Modena, 550 Maranello
Ex's: Dino 308 GT4, 612 Scaglietti
The Rest: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Porsche 911 2.7s, Porsche 911 3.2 Carerra, Ducati 916... and the Land Rovers

Great video Tony, the 308 looks spectacular in black, think I might get one

TBH not too keen on either soundtrack, I would rather hear the sound that V8 makes at 5-7K RPM

For me, the second one.
On the first video the music is too slow for a Ferrari.

Second soundtrack. The first sounds like driving to a picnic on the Italian countryside with a red plaid basket containing some bread and wine. The second sounds like something is going to happen and anticipatory.
