Gents (and ladies),
It's sometimes rare that we are on the receiving end of excellent service and so when it happens I think it's worthy of note. Some of you might know that I had my 360 serviced on Friday morning last (on route from Liverpool ferry terminal to FLED 2.5)...
In any case it was given a full service (belts and all) in Nick Cartwrights. Having spoken to Nick he arranged for 2 mechanics to meet me at his workshop at 7am on Friday morning. I arrived at 6.45 to find the place open, lights on and both waiting for me. By 6.50 the car in the workshop and we were sitting comfortably, coffee in hand and reading the magazines.
The full service was carried out and I was free to watch the whole thing. Ben (Nick's son) dropped in about 8.30 and gave us the family Land Rover to take into the local town so that we could idle away a couple of hours browsing around Matlock village.
By 2pm the 360 was fully serviced and ready to go. Knowing we were on a tight schedule to meet our fellow FLEDers, Nick ushered me off and told me we could sort out the bill next week, not in the least bit perturbed by the fact that I would be back in Ireland then (!), though not before bringing us up to the showrooms at his home to show us his current stock of magnificent Ferrari's.
The invoice has just arrived to me now, by e-mail, back in Dublin and it is extremely reasonable and just as he estimated.
I have no affiliation with NC's other than having bought the 360 from him and subsequently had it serviced there, but I really cannot fault the service received from the entire team. There's a fair few UK based owners out there on F-Life - so I felt it was worth giving feedback on a very positive experience!
