Behind the Scenes of FLQ, a first look at how its done

Wrapping up this next issue and was particularly proud of this FLED page spread. Thumbs up to Vitalone for the wonderful writeup. Now if we could just get this magazine in print you would be able to see the way I design the issue from as if the magazine were open in your lap. If you have Adobe and a large enough screen I suggest you read FLQ in this view, where it has the two pages next to each other. I am very meticulous about the magazines "look and feel" so much I drive myself nuts. Hopefully it comes through in the final product. Putting the final touches on it now.

It was fantastic to have you join us on FLED 2, Andrew. I hope that there are lots of your superb pictures taken from the vantage points of the four Ferrari's to liven up my story on a fabulous FLED 2. Roll on the print version!

Starting to get excited for FLED 2.5-head out tomorrow to Calais for the ferry...

Onno, saw that, I mean the one Andrew should have been drinking from for editorial boost... a nice Zin for Zing would have been nice.

Everyone in California has a Ferrari or two - a 'Bubba' from Alabama is quite the novelty...

I've had a hard time deciding the cover and this thread is fun so to build up the hype some more. Here are a few I am considering.

Issue will be available for download today after 2PM.

I like the first and the last best, Andrew. But you can also crop the BMW out, which would improve the 3rd a lot.

Here's some more suggestions from my pics of FLED2. This first is a bit of a shameless plug for my car but I like the colours a lot.

Hi like the 1st one best Andrew. Something very cool about it, the old and the new, the snow, the road. Cool.

Issue ready for 2pm - just in time for me to print it off and take it to read on the ferry!!

Cheers
