How I make my own Ferrari Scuderia Badges

As you all know, the Scuderia Badges are the Ferrari logos on the front wings of the Fcars, those are an option and thats why you see some Fcars with out them!
I went to the dealer (stealer) the other day and the cost was 1.200euros each. Yes 2.400euros for 2 badges.... then I try to find them in US that the prices are always much better, but still, they are for $1.190 each
So, I say to myself, WTF, I am better then those that make them for the Ferrari, I am a jeweler so I will make them and I will make them better!
So I went to my small garage workshop and dusting my tools!
One good thing is that I have the right tools for the job and as every craftsman that respect himself, I have a small CNC machine!
So, I make the art work, and using a 2.2mm aluminum plate that I found in the garage I start working on them.
Then I buy some a very good enamel colours and a liquid glass, after I finish them, I bent them to fit on the wings and using double side tape I add them on!
I also make a logo for the Ferrari F1 16 constructors world championships almost like the one on the 430 16M Scuderia Spider
Note. 21 large photos
Enjoy.

Lefteris,
I am hugely impressed. Fantastic work. Would you consider manufacturing some more for those of us here who might like to purchase a set???

I really dont know how much someone willing to pay for a handmade work like this, also they are already a few out there that make something like this (yosy or something), I was about to buy from them, but I read feedbacks on the other Fcars forum for some color problems and delays, as a jeweler I can see things that most people cant, so I was sure that at the end I will not like the aftermarket ones (I have see problems on originals too....)
Also there is the bent problem, I bent them with my hands in order to fit perfect in my 360, so it needs a special tool in order to bent them and this tool will cost up to 500 euros.
But I will try and find a way to make them faster and as a custom order size!
I will let you know as soon as I have news on this, at this moment I have a lot of work!
Thanks

paper tape on the fenders and using my hands, took me sometime to make them perfect!
Thanks

great work. I own a Sheetmetal fabrication shop. I can tell great workmanship. I have a 36' x 6' axyz cnc router that I fabricate acm panels. Does your cnc use dxf files? I have been thinking about trying to make a larger size shield for my garage. Never thought about trying to make the smaller ones. I am sure there is a bit of time involved. Again. Great job.

My CNC is 60X40 cm, yes I use .dfx files but I convert them to Rhino in order to work with my machine, the file needs hours to make it correct, the better artwork you make, the better product you have
Thanks

LEFTERIS: VERY Nice work.....

BTW, are those PC driven CNC's expensive, PM me on price

Who makes your CNC?

Perhaps a keychain, with a FERRAILife on it would go well.

I'm always impressed by this sort of stuff. How much to make a set for my 308?

Current: 85' GTS QV
It's a simple process...... it's just complicated by human beings....

That's great work! Wonder if others could chime in on what is readily available from the factory. Do they fit? or do they look awkward/ out of place? And what are the options out there? Any preference for any makes? thanks.
