GTC/4 article

The former owner of a GTC/4 wrote a nice article on how he bought it. So, if you like those sorts of stories, check out the link.

Terrific, thanks JazzyO. I have a soft spot for the GTC/4. More expensive when new than the Daytona and only 500 made. Discrete and elegant in true GTC style although not as dual purpose as the original GTCs with their 275 chassis and layout and wheelbase clothed in an elegant style. The GTC/4 was more GT 2+2 in chassis and layout with a shorter wheelbase. Would love one with the plaid interior-most have been redone in resale red with a boring old leather interior.

Well, we saw one of those today, Vitalone. And a black one as well, actually. Not a very good car, the red one, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. She wasn't sounding like a good 365 Colombo should sound. But still, always nice to see one of those old brutes, even if she needs a bit of TLC!

I looked at a few a couple of years ago. The period plaid really suits them nicely. Very fast cars but always felt a bit soft.

I finally got to hear one recently. I wish the setting was more ideal.
I always wanted to hear one after learning its reputation as having the most beautiful note of Ferrari street cars.
I found it was less throaty and aggressive than expected, but very sweet.

+1 on the very sweet.

My only negatives on it were the hooded vs gated stick shift, weight, and softish suspension set up.
