First photos of my Mondial QV

Still in the garage solving some minor problems.
The last photo shows the change of the timing belt, just for precaution.
There is one police car in the right and another in the back. Good security...

That interior is GREAT!!! more pics of that please.
Looks like a great shop.
AND I'm guessing this is a 308 Mondial, right? I've never seen them with blackened air-grates, which I must say are a very nice two-tone touch.

congrats...post more.

Thanks for the post.
I will only be with the car again next week and Iīll take lots of photos of the interior.
This car was originaly french, with the license nš 6163VR93 and was imported to Portugal in 2005 where it had only one owner, until now.
The cahssis number is ZFFLDI4B000049277 and the portuguese license says itīs a Mondial 8, but, in fact it has 4 valve per cilinder, and the QV logo in tha back.
So, thereīs here a big confusion and I would appreciate any help about this matter if there is anyone in this forum with enough knowledge about Ferrari models.

More photos of the Mondial, now ready for uese

Iīve been yesterday in the garage where my Mondial is beeing prepared to be delivered and I took these pictures:

The delivery was delayed because we found there was no air conditioned compressor attached. someone took it out, so they had to buy one.
Now everything is working correctly except two things:

- The oil pressure is low, but the oil is not the recommended (10W-40, intead of 10W-50). The oil pressure warning light turns on at idle speed and the oil pressure never exceeds 4,5 Kilos.

- The CO2 is 3.2 at idle when it should be 1.0.

can anyone give hints about these two matters?

Hi, congrats on your purchase, looks great.

The 8/QV confusion is probably not that hard to resolve: the 8 - with 2 valve technology - was introduced in 1980. It sported 214 HP, produced by the (almost) 3 liter 308 engine. In 1982, while it was still by and large the 8 model, 4 valve technology was introduced. These cars were referred to as Mondial 8 Quattrovalvole or 8 QV. Output went up to 240 HP. So if your Mondial was built between 1982 and 1985 (when the new 3.2 liter QV version was introduced), it is simply both an 8 and a QV.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course. That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister F.

Thanks Nuno,

I read somewhere that driving a Ferrari for the first time was the same as having sex for the first time.
The guy that wrote this is absolutely right. The first time I took my Ferrari for the road everithing was new: - the power, the accelaration, the steering, the brakes, nothing like the other cars!
Probably God made the woman and the devil made the Ferrari. Thatīs why I'm a sinner...

No, I didn't see that car but I am going to find it.
I know where is a good machine for you. Itīs a Dino 308 GTS, which has the same V8 3 litre, but with carburators. I can get for about 27.000 Euros.

Lovely...

But the "never had work" and the unemployed situation do not allow even to think about it...

One day...
